Here at IntelliRecovery, we pride ourselves in giving our customers the absolute
best chance in recovering their vital data. With that
premise in mind, we enforce the strictest guidelines
for our laboratory in terms of cleanliness and processes.
Below is a brief synopsis of what a clean room facility
is for:
IntelliRecovery’s data recovery clean room is a strictly controlled
environment where hard disk drives are serviced and
dis-assembled. Our laboratory consists of a room in
which the concentration of airborne particles is controlled
to specified limits. Eliminating sub-micron airborne
contamination is really a process of control. These
contaminants are generated by a number of different
sources such as people, process, facilities and equipment.
Contaminants must be continually removed from the air.
The level to which these particles are removed are controlled
at differing rates depending on the required standards.
IntelliRecovery enforces a standard of no more than
100 particles (0.5 microns or larger) per cubic foot
of air – Class 100.
The only way to control contamination is to control
the total environment. Air flow rates and direction,
pressurization, temperature, humidity and specialized
filtration all need to be tightly controlled. And the
sources of these particles need to be controlled or
eliminated whenever possible. What this means is there
is more to a clean room than just air filters. Strict
protocols and methods must be put in place so that human
behaviors do not actually add contaminates to an environment.
As you can see, the clean room environment is truly
an integral part for anyone providing data recovery
services. IntelliRecovery prides itself in maintaining
one of the “cleanest” clean rooms in the
data recovery industry.
